The inspiration for this playful illustrated series comes from the native flora from Liv Lee’s childhood garden. Liv’s style is organic and flowing, her bright colours and bold shapes creating perfectly imperfect depictions of fruits, flowers and animals.
Working mostly with gouache, Liv’s work draws inspiration from the almost always sunny Australian lifestyle and her labyrinth-like backyard of blooms. This bright orange vase holds a bunch of local blooms found in Port Macquarie, Australia, painted to be asymmetric, organic and bright.
